NO SNOW HAS BEEN OBSERVED AT HUNTINGTON WEST VIRGINIA IN DECEMBER
2014.

THIS TIES DECEMBER IN 1931...FOR THE LEAST AMOUNT OF SNOWFALL ON
RECORD DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.

IN CONTRAST...THE MOST DECEMBER SNOW ON RECORD AT HUNTINGTON WAS
21.7 INCHES BACK IN 1935.

THE LONG TERM AVERAGE SNOWFALL IS AROUND 4 INCHES FOR DECEMBER IN
THE TRI STATE.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RECORDS GO BACK INTO THE LATE 19TH CENTURY.
HOWEVER...THERE ARE SOME YEARS WHEN SNOWFALL DATA WAS NOT
AVAILABLE.
