DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1119 AM EDT TUE SEP 27 2016

...River forecast points were well below flood stage this morning...

A weak frontal boundary will stall across the Upstate over the
next 48 hours. Along and east of the boundary scattered showers
and thunderstorms can be expected during the afternoon and
evening hours.

Precipitation amounts will range from around one quarter inch
across the CSRA to around 1 inch across the Pee Dee region.
Most rivers will only experience minor fluctuations over
the next several days. However...heavy rainfall across the
upper basin of the Great Pee Dee River and the lower basin
of the Yadkin River will produce modest rises along the
Pee Dee River at Cheraw. Over the past 24 to 48 hours...
3 to 5 inches of rainfall has fallen across this region.

Overall...rainfall is not expected to result in any flooding
problems on area rivers through the period.
