DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1051 AM EDT SUN JUL 5 2015

...All river forecast points are expected to remain below flood stage...

As an upper level low lifts up toward the Ohio Valley out of Tennessee,
southwest flow and moisture will continue to provide chances of rainfall
over the region. Heavier rainfall continues to our north in the foothills
and Blue Ridge/Appalachian Mountains to our north...providing inflow into
headwaters of our drainage basins.

In our forecast area..major river levels are expected to rise slightly
but still remain below action and flood stage. Fluctuations will occur as
dam operators release water for hydro power generation and to maintain
optimum lake levels. The most significant threat for our region will be
localized urban area and small stream basin flash flooding associated with
slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms.
