Daily River And Lake Summary
National Weather Service Columbia Sc
1151 AM EDT Sun Aug 20 2017

...All River Forecast Points remain below Flood Stage...

With a weakening frontal boundary over the southeastern portion
of the forecast area, high pressure centered over the Mid-Atlantic
states will move off the coast tonight. This will allow an onshore
flow to spread low-level moisture inland across the area.

Through Monday, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in
the afternoon and early evening will favor the southeastern portion
of the Midlands and CSRA. A slight increase in shower coverage
across the entire area is expected on Tuesday.

Light amounts of rain are forecast overall, and any heavier amounts
occurring with slow-moving thunderstorms will be localized.
Therefore, no river or stream flooding is expected. Generally minor
fluctuations are expected across area river basins through Tuesday,
and will be governed mainly by water releases due to power generation
from upstream reservoirs.
