DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1013 AM EDT SAT JUL 23 2016

...All River Forecast Points Remain Below Flood Stage...

High pressure aloft continues to dominate the Midlands/CSRA
this weekend...with weak upper level troughs occassionally
weakening the ridge. Surface lee and thermal troughing will
lie across the Upstate and Pee Dee. Hot weather will persist...
with enough heat and instability to fire isolated afternoon
showers and a storm or two...favoring the Piedmont, Pee Dee and
along the coastal see breeze front.

The forecast area will remain relatively dry...with only basins
receiving isolated rainfall seeing briefly elevated river stages.
Overall...minor stage fluctuations continue due to hydro power
generation and corresponding releases from upstream reservoirs.
