...River Statement For The Alabama River...

The rate of drop in water levels along the Alabama River at Montgomery
has slowed...but continues to fall. The latest forecast takes the point
below caution by early Tuesday morning. With a stretch of dry weather
expected...no additional rises are expected at this time.

The Alabama River At Montgomery.
 Latest Stage:     26.0 Feet at 5 PM Monday.
 Caution Stage:    26.0 Feet.
 Flood Stage:      35.0 Feet.
 Forecast:         Gradually falling...exiting below caution range
                   early Tuesday morning.

Please stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or your local media for later
statements concerning this event.

Another statement will be issued Tuesday morning...and will likely
be the last product issued for this event.
