...ICE IS CAUSING FLUCTUATING WATER LEVELS ON THE SNAKE RIVER NEAR
WEISER...

PERSISTENT COLD TEMPERATURES OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS HAVE CAUSED
ICE TO BUILD UP ON THE SNAKE RIVER NEAR WEISER. THE ICE IS CAUSING
FLUCTUATIONS IN THE RIVER LEVEL FROM WEISER TO ABOUT 7 MILES WEST OF
WEISER.

TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO WARM SLIGHTLY ACROSS THE LOWER TREASURE
VALLEY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL MOVEMENT
OF ICE...AND SHIFTING WATER LEVELS ON THE SNAKE RIVER.

NO FLOODING IS EXPECTED...BUT PERSONS WITH INTERESTS ALONG THE SNAKE
RIVER NEAR WEISER SHOULD MONITOR RIVER ICE CONDITIONS AND BE PREPARED
FOR FLUCTUATING WATER LEVELS. DOCKS AND PUMPS LOCATED ALONG THE
RIVER MAY BE IMPACTED.
