The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 9.8 feet at 8
PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 11.1 feet Saturday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

For the Kalamazoo River At Comstock... the latest stage was 6.8 feet
at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

For the Portage River Near Vicksburg... the latest stage was 4.7 feet
at 10 AM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  Flood stage is 5.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
