IT WILL BE VERY WARM AND HUMID DAY OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS TODAY.
WITH SOUTHEAST WINDS CONTINUING TO BRING HUMID AIR INTO THE AREA AND
TEMPERATURES RISING INTO THE 80S AND LOWER 90S...THE HEAT INDEX WILL
RANGE FROM 90 TO 105 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. IN ADDITION
TO THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY...THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS. THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MINNESOTA WILL MOVE INTO
WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...WHILE STORMS OVER NEBRASKA AND IOWA ARE
EXPECTED WEAKEN THROUGH THE MORNING LEAVING PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY
SKIES MUCH OF THE DAY. THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO
REDEVELOP LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT. THE MOST LIKELY AREA
FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ACROSS MINNESOTA AND IOWA. IF STORMS ARE
ABLE TO DEVELOP...THERE WILL BE A RISK FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. LOWS OVERNIGHT WILL BE IN THE 60S TO LOWER 70S.
