Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A weak area of low pressure will pass through the area tonight.
High pressure will return briefly for Monday before another area
of low pressure affects the region Tuesday into Tuesday night.
Rain is expected across most of the area during this time, with a
wintry mix of precipitation likely near and west of the Blue
Ridge Mountains.

High pressure will move overhead Wednesday before a strong cold
front moves through Thursday into Thursday night. Much colder and
breezy conditions will follow the front Friday into the first part
of the weekend.
