...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL FAIRFIELD...
HOCKING AND LICKING COUNTIES UNTIL 1115 AM EDT...

At 1040 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line
extending from near Granville to near Heath to 10 miles southeast of
Kingston, moving east at 60 mph.

STORM HAZARDS INCLUDE...
Winds to 40 mph...
Pea size hail...
Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning...
Very heavy rain...

Locations impacted include...
Newark, Lancaster, Heath, Logan, Granville, Nelsonville, Johnstown,
Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Utica, Bremen, Millersport,
Pleasantville, Hanover, Hide-A-Way Hills, Marne, Fairfield Beach,
Hocking Hills State Park and Harbor Hills.

This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 121 and 142, and near
mile marker 144.

Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning
threatens. Move indoors when thunderstorms approach.

Water will pond on roads and may quickly fill roadside ditches and
small streams.
