...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DURING THE EVENING COMMUTE...

DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED AROUND THE NORTHWEST PIEDMONT...INCLUDING
THE TRIAD AREA....WHERE SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED NEAR ZERO
VISIBILITY. THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH THE EVENING
RUSH HOUR COMMUTE BEFORE DISSIPATING THIS EVENING AS A FRONT MOVES
THROUGH THE AREA.

MOTORISTS SHOULD PREPARE FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. SLOW
DOWN...INCREASE FOLLOWING DISTANCE...AND EXERCISE ADDITIONAL
CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING... PARTICULARLY AT INTERSECTIONS AND
AT HIGHWAY ON-RAMPS AND OFF-RAMPS WHERE ACCIDENTS ARE MORE LIKELY.
