A northeast wind surge behind a passing cool front will offer adverse
beach conditions today, especially for Volusia and Brevard County
Beaches.
The surf will become progressively rough and the risk for rip
currents will become high for Cocoa Beach north through Daytona
Beach, and moderate elsewhere southward though the remainder of the
Space and Treasure Coasts. Beach-goers are urged to stay out of the
surf today.

OUTLOOK FOR WEDNESDAY...Considerable cloudiness with showers likely
and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Breezy. Highs in the lower 80s.
Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

lifeguards. Be very cautious when entering the surf.
