AREA SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS
330 PM CDT THU JUL 2 2015

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL DROP SOUTH THROUGH THE CENTRAL PLAINS
LATER THIS EVENING, WHILE A WEAK COLD FRONT MOVES SOUTH ACROSS
KANSAS.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED PRIMARILY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 4
THIS EVENING. ALTHOUGH A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS LATE THIS EVENING, COOL OUTFLOW
FROM THUNDERSTORMS EARLIER TODAY HAS STABILIZED THE LOW LEVELS OF
THE ATMOSPHERE AND HAS REDUCED THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT.
