URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTERY WEATHER EXPECTED FRIDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY IN
THE MOUNTAINS...

.A cold low pressure trough will swing across Southern California
Friday night with light precipitation, gusty winds and falling
temperatures. Several inches of snow may accumulate above 4000 FT
through Saturday morning.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM FRIDAY TO NOON PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Gusty westerly winds and light snowfall will create
  hazardous travel conditions at times.

* WHERE...Resort levels. Snow falling as low as 3000 Feet late
  Friday night.

* WHEN...Gusty winds beginning Friday afternoon with light snow
  above 5000 Feet. Snow level falling through the evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of westerly winds 20 to 30 MPH with
  gusts to around 50 MPH. 1 to 4 inches of snow is expected above
  4000 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties.  Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities...and use caution while driving.

* WHERE...Resort levels. Snow falling as low as 3500 Feet late
  Friday night.

* WHEN...winds beginning late in the afternoon with light snow
  above 5500 Feet. Snow level falling through the evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of westerly winds 20 to 35 MPH with
  gusts 50 MPH...to locally 60 MPH. 1 to 3 inches of snow is
  expected above 4500 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
