For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough at 29.8 inches will track into and then
remain in place across the Upper Great Lakes late tonight into
Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning a 29.7 inch low over the
Central Plains will track northeast and reach the Upper
Mississippi River Valley by Sunday afternoon. A 29.6 inch low
moves across the Upper Great Lakes Saturday night and Sunday.
