For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak 30.2 inch trough will exit across eastern Lake
Superior tonight as a 30.4 inch ridge centered over the Upper
Mississippi Valley approaches. The ridge will shift over the Upper
Great Lakes on Monday and build to 30.5 inches over central
Illinois. On Tuesday evening, the ridge axis will be centered
over the Appalachians and northeastern states at 30.3 inches as a
low pressure of 29.8 inches organizes and approaches from the
west. This low will strengthen to 29.6 inches as it tracks into
the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday. A ridge of 30.4 inches will
then quickly follow through central Ontario Thursday as a
strengthening trough of 28.9 inches approaches the Great Lakes
from the Central Plains on Friday.
