For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough of 29.4 inches extending from James Bay through
western Lake Superior to the southern Plains this morning will
cross the Upper Great Lakes today at 29.6 inches and reach the
East Coast Friday evening. High pressure averaging 30.7 inches
over the Canadian Rockies Friday will reach the Mid Mississippi
Valley late Saturday night, extending a 30.5 inch ridge across the
Upper Great Lakes. The high will extend from Quebec to the Ohio
Valley Sunday. A 30.2 inch trough will pass across Wisconsin and
Northern Illinois Monday as a 31.0 inch high moves into the
northern Plains.
