Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough of 29.6 inches extending from northern
Quebec through northern Lower Michigan to the lower Mississippi
Valley will reach the east coast Friday evening. High pressure of
30.8 inches over Saskatchewan Friday morning will reach the Ohio
Valley Sunday, with a 30.6 inch ridge extending from east Texas
all the way into northern Quebec by Sunday night. A 30.1 inch
trough will move over the western Great Lakes Monday as a 31.0
inch high begins to move into the northern Plains. The trough will
move over the eastern Great Lakes Tuesday as the high slowly
slides to the east.
