For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low pressure is currently over north-
central Lake Superior and moving northeast. Wednesday, the low
will lift north to the shores of Hudson Bay at 29.5 inches as 30.2
inch ridging builds over much of the central CONUS. Thursday, the
pressure gradient slackens as ridging south of Michigan weakens
to 30.1 inches and the low over far-northern Ontario weakens to
29.6 inches. Friday, the low will dissipate as 30.0 inch ridging
builds over the lake associated with a 30.2 inch high over the
northern Canadian Prairie provinces. 30.0 inch ridging holds over
the lake as a 29.7 inch low approaches the southern portions of
the Great Lakes basin. As the low enters the Lower Great Lakes
early Sunday, a 30.3 inch ridge over northern Manitoba will extend
a 30.1 inch ridge over Lake Superior, holding into next week.
