.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch high pressure ridge extending from Hudson
Bay southward across Lower Michigan will weaken to 29.8 inches as
it shifts to the Lower Great Lakes overnight. Meanwhile, low
pressure of 29.6 inches located just northwest of the Twin Cities
will track east, crossing the Upper Great Lakes early Sunday
morning and reaching the Lower Great Lakes by Sunday evening. In
its wake, 30.0 inch high pressure over the Prairie Provinces will
extend 29.8 inch ridging into the Upper Mississippi Valley during
Sunday afternoon. This ridge will build to 30.1 inches as it
shifts across the Upper Great Lakes during Sunday night and
Monday. On Tuesday, the ridge at 30.2 inches will extend from
Hudson Bay to the Lower Great Lakes while deep low pressure of
29.1 inches lifts northeast across the central Plains. This low
will then weaken to 29.4 inches as it tracks to Wisconsin on
Wednesday, and it will weaken further to 29.7 inches as it moves
over northern Ontario on Thursday. In its wake, a 30.2 inch high
pressure ridge will build southeast across the Plains to the Mid-
Mississippi Valley during Thursday and Thursday night.
