For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Lake Superior sits within a gradient of pressure today
between a 30.3 inch ridge over the Lower Great Lakes that will
drift south towards the Mid- Atlantic and a 29.4 inch trough in
Manitoba that will push away to the northeast. Tonight, another
29.4 inch trough moves out of the mountains of Colorado, and will
race across the Central Plains tomorrow, strengthening to around
29.0 inches across the Lower Great Lakes Saturday night. A 30.3
inch high over the Southern Plains Sunday will extend a 30.0 inch
ridge just south of Lake Superior into Sunday night. Then, a 29.3
inch trough will move through Alberta and Saskatchewan toward the
Upper Great Lakes on Monday evening, reaching Southern Quebec
Tuesday night.
