For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...29.4 inch low pressure over southern Lake Michigan late
this afternoon will track eastward tonight. A broad 30.3 inch ridge
will then build across the central Plains through Friday as a 29.7
inch low pressure gradually develops over the Upper Great Lakes. A
30.2 inch high pressure crossing the Upper Great Lakes on Saturday
will be followed by a dissipating 30.1 inch trough Saturday night.
Lake Superior will then remain between 29.2 inch low pressure near
Hudson Bay and 30.2 inch high pressure over the Ohio River Valley
into early next week.
