FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI

...RAINY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...

.DISCUSSION...SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL INCREASE TODAY AHEAD OF A NORTHERN
PLAINS FRONTAL SYSTEM WHICH WILL BRING A WARMER AND HUMID AIR MASS INTO

TONIGHT. MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AS THE
NORTHERN PLAINS COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA. THE BULK OF
THE RAIN SHOULD END BY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH LIGHTER RAIN SHOWERS
