FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
530 AM EDT Fri Jul 21 2017

...Increasing rain chances into the weekend...

.DISCUSSION: A lingering ridge of high pressure will result in
warm and dry weather into this afternoon but some pop up showers and
thunderstorms are possible late today into this evening over the west
half. Expect more showers and thunderstorms overnight with the best
chances over south central Upper Michigan. Low pressure crossing
the area on Saturday will lead to more chances of showers and
thunderstorms especially Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.
Some storms late Saturday into Saturday evening may be strong, mainly
over western Upper Michigan. Expect cooler and breezy conditions
on Sunday with more chances for showers and a few thunderstorms.
Dry conditions should return early next week as high pressure
arrives.
