FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
410 AM EDT WED APR 27 2016

...EXTENDED PERIOD OF DRY WEATHER...

.DISCUSSION...HUDSON BAY HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE THE DOMINATING
INFLUENCE ON UPPER MICHIGAN WEATHER THROUGH THIS COMING WEEKEND.
EXPECT MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY TODAY TO DIP AS LOW AS 15 TO 25
PERCENT INLAND FROM THE GREAT LAKES. ALTHOUGH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
MOVING NEAR THE LOWER GREAT LAKES ON THURSDAY WILL SPREAD SOME CLOUDS
INTO THE SOUTH CENTRAL...THE DRY NORTHEAST FLOW ON THE SOUTHERN FLANK
OF THE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL LIKELY SHUNT ALL THE ACCOMPANYING
RAIN TO THE SOUTH. TEMPERATURES THROUGH THIS WEEKEND ARE LIKELY TO
RUN NEAR OR BELOW NORMAL. WARMER AND CONTINUED DRY WEATHER IS LIKELY
FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
