THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN AND CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LARGE WAVES MAY LEAD TO MINOR BEACH EROSION ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR
SHORE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...MAINLY FROM ONTONAGON TO COPPER
HARBOR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LARGE WAVES MAY LEAD TO MINOR BEACH EROSION ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR
SHORE ON WEDNESDAY...MAINLY FROM EAGLE RIVER TO COPPER HARBOR...AND
FROM MARQUETTE TO WHITEFISH POINT.

NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS MAY GUST UP TO 40 MPH THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY MORNING NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR. THESE STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN
ANOTHER PERIOD OF LARGE WAVES ON FRIDAY WHICH MAY LEAD TO ADDITIONAL
BEACH EROSION AND MINOR LAKESHORE FLOODING ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR
SHORELINE.

WIDESPREAD MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT AS A
COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WITH
ADDITIONAL MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY. IT IS
POSSIBLE THAT A FEW INCHES OF SNOW MAY OCCUR OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN
OF NORTH CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. DEPENDING
ON THE TIMING OF THE HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS...THE MORNING COMMUTE ON FRIDAY
MAY BE AFFECTED.
