MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING IN FROM MISSOURI TO SOUTHWESTERN LOWER
MICHIGAN TONIGHT WILL QUICKLY SPREAD SNOW ACROSS THE AREA OVERNIGHT.
ALONG WITH HEAVY WET SNOW...THERE MAY BE A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING
RAIN NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TONIGHT SHOULD BE ON THE
ORDER OF 1 TO 2 INCHES SOUTHWEST OF ESCANABA...WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS
TO THE NORTHEAST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY WET SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON...QUICKLY DIMINISHING SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST. A BRIEF
PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN MAY STILL BE POSSIBLE SOUTHEAST OF A LINE
FROM MANISTIQUE TO GRAND MARAIS. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO
AROUND 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY MORNING...WITH THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS NORTH AND EAST OF ESCANABA.

OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTHERLY WIND SNOWBELTS OF ALGER COUNTY...A
LONG DURATION LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED
WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY EVENING.
