This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western Upper
Michigan and central Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Light snow will spread across the area this evening, producing
accumulations of an inch or two. Moderate to heavy lake effect
snow will then develop in the north wind favored snow belts.
Several inches of fluffy snow are possible downwind of Lake
Superior, heaviest over the high terrain of the north central and
west. See the latest Winter Weather Message for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Moderate to locally heavy lake effect snow is possible for the
north wind favored snow belts Saturday, but the snow will diminish
from west to east during the afternoon. Several inches of fluffy
snow are possible downwind of Lake Superior, heaviest over the
high terrain of the north central. See the latest Winter Weather
Message for further details.

Moderate to heavy lake effect snow is possible over the Keweenaw
Peninsula late Saturday night and then east of Marquette on
Sunday, especially in the morning.

Another period of moderate to heavy lake effect snow is possible
for the snow belts favored by north winds late Monday afternoon
through Tuesday morning.

Superior...Central Lake Superior and Western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

North gales to 35 knots are possible Monday night into Tuesday
over the east half of Lake Superior. Heavy freezing spray will
also be possible late Monday night and Tuesday morning over
portions of the east half of Lake Superior.
