CONDITIONS...THE WEATHER IN AUGUST AND ESPECIALLY JULY WAS COOLER
THAN NORMAL. THE RESULT WAS A TOP 25 COOLEST SUMMER AT HOUGHTON.

BUT ENDED IN OCTOBER 2000. THE DATA LISTED HERE FOR TIMES SINCE
OCTOBER 2000 ARE TAKEN FROM THE AUTOMATED SURFACE OBSERVATION SYSTEM
NEAR THE ORIGINAL OBSERVATION SITE. THESE OBSERVATIONS ARE COMPARED
