WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP. THIS BREAKS THE OLD
RECORD OF 1.0 INCH SET IN 1997.

THE SNOW AMOUNT OF 2.8 INCHES IS THE SECOND HIGHEST DAILY TOTAL ON
RECORD THIS LATE IN THE SEASON. THE ONLY HIGHER AMOUNT IS 3.2 INCHES
THAT OCCURRED ON MAY 16TH 1997.
