MARQUETTE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE...

THE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR YESTERDAY...FEBRUARY 14TH...AT THE
MARQUETTE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP WAS 6
DEGREES ABOVE ZERO. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD FOR LOWEST
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE ON THE DATE WHICH WAS 8 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO...SET
IN 1963. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS YESTERDAY
AT THE MARQUETTE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE...THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE RECORDED WAS 3 BELOW ZERO AS THE READING OF 6 ABOVE ZERO
OCCURRED SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT.
