...A DANGEROUS SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN IRON...
KEWEENAW...SOUTHEASTERN GOGEBIC...NORTHWESTERN MARQUETTE...
HOUGHTON...BARAGA AND EASTERN ONTONAGON COUNTIES...

At 300 PM EST/200 PM CST/, a dangerous snow squall was located along
a line extending from near The Upper Entrance of Portage Canal to
near Winchester. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this dangerous squall.

This dangerous squall will be near...
  The Upper Entrance of Portage Canal around 305 PM EST.
  Calumet and Houghton County Airport around 310 PM EST.
  Laurium, Lake Linden and Hubbell around 315 PM EST.
  Mohawk around 320 PM EST.
  Gay around 330 PM EST.
  Watersmeet around 350 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by this dangerous squall include Canyon
Falls, Tamarack Lake, Trout Creek, Presque Isle Reservoir, Betsy,
McLain State Park, Pomeroy Lake, King Lake, Donken and Lake Gogebic
State Park.

Visibilities will drop quickly to near zero in this dangerous squall
and this will last about 20 minutes with a quick inch of snow with
this squall.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangerous
snow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
