AT 924 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 5 MILES EAST OF
GARDEN CORNERS TO NAHMA TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF ESCANABA...OR ALONG
A LINE EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MANISTIQUE TO 17 MILES
EAST OF ESCANABA TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF ESCANABA.  THESE STORMS
WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

PEA SIZE HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AN INCH OR MORE ARE POSSIBLE UNDER THESE
THUNDERSTORMS. THIS HEAVY RAIN MAY RESULT IN BRIEF RUNOFF PROBLEMS
AND PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS.
