...A SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN IRON...DICKINSON...
NORTHWESTERN DELTA...NORTHERN MENOMINEE...MARQUETTE AND ALGER
COUNTIES...

At 516 PM EST/416 PM CST/, a snow squall was located along a line
extending from 15 miles northeast of Shot Point to near Crystal
Falls. Movement was east at 35 mph. Scattered moderate to heavy snow
showers were also present ahead of the main snow squall.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this squall and under
the scattered snow showers ahead of that line.

Locations impacted include...
Marquette, Iron Mountain, Ishpeming, Kingsford, Munising, Crystal
Falls, Grand Marais, Miners Castle, Chapel Lake, Grand Island,
Presque Isle, Negaunee, Norway, Watson, Au Train, Felch, Chatham,
Grand Sable Dunes, Trenary and La Branche.

Visibilities will drop quickly to near zero in this squall that will
last up to 15 minutes and under the heavier snow showers ahead of
the main line. Some places could see up to 1 to 2 inches of snow as
well as a brief period of extensive blowing snow.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangerous
snow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
