COUNTIES UNTIL 300 AM CDT/400 AM EDT/...

AT 156 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 6 MILES SOUTH OF
POWERS TO 17 MILES EAST OF CEDAR RIVER...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM 24 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ESCANABA TO 22 MILES SOUTH OF ESCANABA.
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. OTHER ISOLATED STORMS
WERE DEVELOPING AHEAD OF THIS MAIN LINE EAST OF GLADSTONE AND TO THE
NORTH OF MANISTIQUE.

PEA SIZE HAIL...WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

PEOPLE IN MENOMINEE...SOUTHEASTERN DICKINSON AND SOUTHERN DELTA
COUNTIES...INCLUDING THE CITIES OF POWERS...ESCANABA...GLADSTONE AND
GARDEN...SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION CLOSELY. LISTEN FOR
POSSIBLE WARNINGS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD
SEVERE WEATHER THREATEN.
