   DIMINISH DURING THE DAY TUESDAY.

 * TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...PLAN ON LAKE EFFECT SNOW
   ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM
   WAKEFIELD AND IRONWOOD TO WHITE PINE AND ROCKLAND. FARTHER INLAND
   FROM WATERSMEET TO PAULDING...THERE WILL BE 6 TO 12 INCHES OF
   SNOW.

 * IN ADDITION...NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO AS HIGH AS 35 MPH AT
   TIMES WILL CREATE BLOWING SNOW THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY
   TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR. THE COMBINATION OF THE
   FALLING SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO AS LOW AS
   ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
