FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
547 AM EDT FRI AUG 22 2014

...INCREASINGLY WARM AND HUMID THROUGH THIS WEEKEND WITH LIMITED
POTENTIAL FOR PRECIPITATION...

.DISCUSSION...INCREASINGLY WARM AND HUMID AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE
WESTERN GREAT LAKES REGION THROUGH THIS WEEKEND AS LOW PRESSURE
DEVELOPS OVER THE WESTERN PLAINS SATURDAY AND THEN LIFTS NORTHEAST
INTO SOUTH CENTRAL CANADA EARLY NEXT WEEK. NOT MUCH IN THE WAY OF
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THROUGH SUNDAY AND WHAT PRECIPITATION DOES
OCCUR WILL BE ISOLATED AND WILL OCCUR MAINLY OVER WESTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN. A BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD
ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS
THE AREA. IT WILL THEN TURN COOLER...ESPECIALLY DURING THE MIDDLE AND
END OF NEXT WEEK WITH MORE SHOWERS POSSIBLE LATER TUESDAY INTO
WEDNESDAY.
