FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
427 AM EDT SAT SEP 20 2014

...WARM TODAY...THEN MUCH COOLER FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A COLD FRONT OVER MINNESOTA WILL MOVE ACROSS
THE UPPER GREAT LAKES TODAY AND TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR ANOTHER
MILD DAY ACROSS THE REGION WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THERE IS
A CHANCE FOR A FEW SHOWERS OR STORMS TODAY...HOWEVER THE BEST CHANCE
FOR RAIN WILL BE TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY CLOSER TO THE WISCONSIN BORDER
AS AN UPPER DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH. BEHIND THE COLD FRONT ON
SUNDAY...MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED...ALONG WITH GUSTY
NORTH WINDS. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS ACROSS THE AREA FOR MUCH OF THE
UPCOMING WORK WEEK...WITH MOST PLACES EXPECTED TO REMAIN PRECIPITATION
FREE. IN ADDITION...TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLOWLY MODERATING AND
ARE EXPECTED TO BE ABOVE NORMAL FOR MUCH OF THE WEEK.
