THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

A WINTER WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN
REGION TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE TN VALLEY WILL SEE LESS THAN AN
INCHES OF SNOWFALL...WHILE 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS. A SNOW ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR
THE MOUNTAINS OF EAST TN AND FOR EXTREME SOUTHWEST NC

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADS
OVERNIGHT...ESPECIALLY BRIDGES...OVERPASSES AND BACK ROADS.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO
THE AREA LATE WEDNESDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.
AREAS MOSTLY LIKELY TO SEE SNOWFALL ARE SOUTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA
AND THE MOUNTAINS OF EAST TENNESSEE. 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW ARE
POSSIBLE ACROSS THESE AREAS. EASTERN VALLEYS OF TENNESSEE MAY SEE 1
TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW.
