This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A wind advisory is in effect today and tonight. South to
southwest winds will be increasing during the day, and will be
gusty for much of the afternoon and through the overnight hours.
An isolated thunderstorm this evening may also produce locally
stronger wind gusts, which could potentially cause damage.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The weather will be turning suddenly much colder for Sunday, with
wind chill readings in the teens in the higher mountains on
Sunday afteroon.


Spotter activation will not be needed, but are encouraged to
report any damaging winds.
