National Weather Service NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter, W X M 68, broadcasting on a frequency of 162.425 MHZ will cease broadcasting on September 15, 2017. Other NOAA radio transmitters providing service for this area include W X M 44, broadcasting at 162.475 MHZ from Mount Ascutney, VT, and W W F 48, broadcasting at 162.525 MHZ from Mount Greylock, MA. A replacement transmitter site has been located, however, an extended service outage is anticipated. We will update this statement when additional information is known.
