.DISCUSSION...
Classic break down of the upper level ridge pattern currently
underway across northern and central New Mexico. The gustier
wind...low humidity and unstable atmosphere alignment will favor
southwest and south central areas rest of today. The stronger wind
period will come on Thursday as a cold front sweep across the area.
Winds will be downright strong across the east with gusts to 65 mph
possible. Humidity values will come up...especially across the
western half with continue low readings across the east. Some wetting
moisture will be possible favoring the northwest mountains as the
trough moves overhead. The break in the heat will occur Thursday and
last into Friday as temperatures trend much lower. High temperatures
will return to above normal status during the weekend with humidity
values lowering. Some chances of moisture will exist across the far
north during the weekend as another wave moves over the central
Rockies. Strong wind and low humidity alignment will be possible
across the east central plains Sunday afternoon.
