DISCUSSION...
PRECIPITATION COVERAGE AND INTENSITY WILL INCREASE
WEDNESDAY...THEN DAILY ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED THROUGH MID WEEK AS A WETTER WEATHER REGIME ESTABLISHES.
A MOIST BACK DOOR COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE BURN AREA WITH
A WIND SHIFT OUT OF THE NORTHEAST THIS EVENING WITHIN A FEW HOURS
AFTER SUNSET. THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE AS THE
FRONT ARRIVES THIS EVENING. WITH ABUNDANT MOISTURE IN PLACE AND A
HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM TRYING TO RECENTER OVER NM ALOFT...STORMS
WILL MOVE SLOWLY WEDNESDAY AND BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN.
THE BURN AREA MAY RECEIVE OVER A HALF INCH OF RAIN WEDNESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS AND
FLASH FLOODING. DAILY ROUNDS OF MAINLY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE THEN EXPECTED THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK AS AN
ACTIVE MONSOON MOISTURE PLUME STREAMS OVER THE AREA AND LOW LEVEL
MOISTURE RECYCLES WITH EACH DAY. AFTER A HIGH TEMPERATURE NEAR
NORMAL TODAY...YOUR HIGH WILL DROP AROUND 8 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BEFORE TRENDING GRADUALLY UPWARD THROUGH
THE WEEKEND.
