DISCUSSION...
LOW CLOUDS AND FOG IN THE AREA WILL SLOWLY BURN OFF THROUGH THE LATE
MORNING HOURS TODAY. A DRY SLOT WILL MOVE OVER THE AREA TODAY FROM
THE WEST...RESULTING IN A SIGNIFICANT DOWNTREND IN STORM ACTIVITY.
DAYTIME HEATING PLUS RESIDUAL MOISTURE COULD YIELD AN AFTERNOON
THUNDERSTORM...BUT CHANCES ARE LOW DUE TO WEAK INSTABILITY IN THE
WAKE OF AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH PASSAGE. PERIODIC GUSTY WEST WINDS
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON WITH STRONGER WINDS ALOFT. EXPECT HUMIDITY
VALUES TO TREND DOWN TODAY AND BE SIMILAR TO FRIDAY...THOUGH DAYTIME
HIGHS WILL BE SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM
SUNDAY...RESULTING IN BETTER INSTABILITY AND POTENTIAL FOR AN
AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM. HOWEVER...THE MID LEVEL DRY SLOT WILL REMAIN
OVER THE AREA AND KEEP STORM DEVELOPMENT CHANCES LOW. SURFACE WINDS
WILL WEAKEN SLIGHTLY SUNDAY AND SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST.
