DISCUSSION...
HIGH CLOUDS WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE TODAY...BUT IT WILL REMAIN DRY
WITH CRITICALLY LOW MINIMUM HUMIDITIES AND HAINES OF 5. A CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW OFF THE BAJA COAST EJECTS
NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE FOUR CORNERS REGION. THIS SYSTEM WILL
LIKELY CARRY WITH IT SOME OF THE MID AND HIGH LEVEL REMNANT
MOISTURE FROM HURRICANE PAINE...BUT CONDITIONS WILL PROBABLY BE
STABLE ENOUGH FOR PERIODS OF LIGHT TO PERHAPS MODERATE RAIN TO BE
THE MAIN MODE OF CONVECTION. THE CHANCE FOR RAIN SHOULD PERSIST
FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK AS AN UPPER LOW DEEPENS OVER
THE GREAT BASIN...THEN EXITS NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL ROCKES. HAINES INDICES AND TEMPERATURES WILL TREND
DOWNWARD...AND HUMIDITIES WILL TREND UPWARD...AS THE MOISTURE
ARRIVES THIS WEEK. ALSO...THE POLAR JET STREAM AND A STRONG
PACIFIC COLD FRONT WILL CROSS FRIDAY WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS
BECOMING BREEZY THEN SHIFTING OUT OF THE WEST OR NORTHWEST.
