.DISCUSSION...
West to southwest winds will increase through the afternoon hours as
humidity values drop below 15 percent. One to two hours of critical
fire weather conditions will be possible late this afternoon. A
Pacific cold front will press through the area around 1800-1900 local
this evening. Westerly winds will likely increase along the front.
Additionally, virga, light rain and/or a thunderstorm or two will be
possible along and behind the front. These showers and thunderstorms
may result in microburst winds but wetting rainfall is unlikely.
Winds will decrease late this evening and humidity recoveries should
improve over last night. Tuesday will be quieter and slightly cooler,
but breezy conditions will persist resulting in near-critical
conditions for a few hours in the afternoon.
