DISCUSSION...
A DRYING AND WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE TODAY AND SATURDAY AS A
WEAK UPPER LEVEL HIGH BUILDS BACK OVER THE AREA. RESIDUAL LOW LEVEL
MOISTURE COULD LEAD TO AN AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM...BUT IT IS
UNLIKELY TO PRODUCE WETTING RAIN WHILE REMAINING FAIRLY STATIONARY.
ENVIRONMENT WILL BE CONDUCIVE FOR ANY SHOWER TO PRODUCE GUSTY AND
ERRATIC OUTFLOW WINDS. GOOD MIXING HEIGHTS TODAY AND SATURDAY WILL
LEND TO GOOD VENTILATION RATES OVER THE AREA. OVERNIGHT HUMIDITY
RECOVERIES WILL TREND DOWN BUT STILL BE GOOD. A BACKDOOR COLD FRONT
WILL MAKE ITS WAY TO THE AREA LATE IN THE DAY SATURDAY...WHICH WILL
CAUSE A WEAK WIND SHIFT OUT OF THE EAST ALONG WITH A SLIGHT
INCREASE IN MOISTURE.
