DISCUSSION...
STORM CHANCES APPEAR TO BE QUITE SMALL TODAY AS DRIER MID LEVEL
AIR HAS WORKED INTO THE AREA SHIFTING THE BEST PRECIP CHANCES TO
WESTERN NEW MEXICO. THE MOISTURE PLUME SHOULD TILT BACK OVERHEAD
ON MONDAY AND STEERING FLOW WOULD TAKE STORMS OFF THE SAN JUAN
MOUNTAINS TOWARD THE BURN AREA. THUS...MONDAY APPEARS TO BE THE
FAVORED DAY FOR STORM IMPACTS. GUSTY WINDS FROM OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES
ARE THE MAIN CONCERN. OTHERWISE...LITTLE DAY TO DAY TEMPERATURE
AND HUMIDITY CHANGES. SHOULD SEE DAYTIME HUMIDITIES LOWER AROUND
MID WEEK HOWEVER AS A MORE SIGNIFICANT DRY AIR INTRUSION INVADES
NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.
