.DISCUSSION...
Outlfow winds from rain cooled air across eastern NM will result in a wind shift
for the fire area this evening. Winds will change from northwest to east
during the next couple of hours. The Four Corners high over eastern AZ will
move slowly southward tonight and Thursday. This slight movement is expected
to result in winds shifting back to the northwest Thursday. Drier air will
push into the area on moderate northwest winds Thursday. A strong backdoor
cold front is forecast to move through the fire area around 0100 hours Friday,
shifting winds to easterly. Low level moisture will increase behind
the front along with cooler temps for Friday.
