SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS NORTHWEST PLATEAU THROUGH THE MID
AFTERNOON HOURS. THE MAIN FOCUS AREA THROUGH 4 PM WILL BE FOUND
ACROSS SOUTHERN AND EASTERN CATRON COUNTY AS WELL AS ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE FROM NEAR CROWNPOINT TO GRANTS TO RURAL CENTRAL
CIBOLA COUNTY. COMMUNITIES SUCH AS GALLUP...BEAVERHEAD AND GRANTS
WILL BE IMPACTED. THE STORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING AND SOME WILL
CONTAIN FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...PEA TO HALF INCH
DIAMETER HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH AND HEAVY RAIN. THE HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE THE MAIN IMPACT AND PRODUCE HEAVY RUNOFF AT TIMES. EXPECT
HOURLY RATES BETWEEN 1 TO 1.5 INCHES IN SOME CELLS AS THE AFTERNOON
PROGRESSES.

EAST SLOPES OF THE SANDIAS WILL BE SLOW TO MOVE AND PRODUCE HOURLY
RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN 0.75 TO 1.25 INCHES. OVERALL CELL MOVEMENT
WILL BE TOWARDS THE SOUTH AT 7 MPH. COMMUNITIES SUCH AS CEDAR
CREST...TIJERAS AND ESCABOSA WILL BE IMPACTED THROUGH 4 PM.

CRISTOS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND

ALSO BE IMPACTED. STORMS WILL DRIFT TOWARDS THE SOUTH AT 7 MPH.
