NORTHEASTERN TO EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON
WITH LOCALIZED AREAS OF FOG AND DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE. WHILE
MINIMAL ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED...SOME AREAS MAY OBSERVE WET OR
SLICK PAVEMENT AS DRIZZLE AND FOG FREEZES TO ROAD SURFACES. IN
ADDITION...VISIBILITIES WILL PERIODICALLY REDUCE TO ONE TO THREE
MILES IN FOG AND DRIZZLE. TRAVELERS IN NORTHEAST TO EAST CENTRAL NEW
MEXICO SHOULD REMAIN CAUTIOUS AND ALERT TO SUDDEN CHANGES IN
VISIBILITY AND ROAD CONDITIONS WHILE DRIVING.

SHOWERS ARE BEGINNING TO BLOSSOM OVER NORTH CENTRAL TO NORTHWESTERN
NEW MEXICO...AND THESE ARE EXPECTED TO SLOWLY INCREASE IN COVERAGE
THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON. SNOW LEVELS WILL GENERALLY VARY BETWEEN
8000 TO 9000 FEET WITH A DUSTING TO A COUPLE INCHES OF FRESH SNOW
ACCUMULATION EXPECTED ABOVE AND A FEW TO SEVERAL HUNDREDTHS OF AN
INCH OF RAINFALL BELOW. AREAS OF MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY
HEAVY SNOW WILL FAVOR THE HIGHER WEST AND SOUTHWEST SLOPES OF THE
JEMEZ AND SAN JUAN OR TUSAS MOUNTAINS. VISIBILITY WILL PERIODICALLY
BE REDUCING...ESPECIALLY IN HIGH TERRAIN SNOW SHOWERS.
