CENTRAL AND NORTHERN NEW MEXICO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. WEAK STEERING
FLOW ALOFT WILL KEEP THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS FROM MOVING MUCH ONCE
THEY DO DEVELOP. EXPECT BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL AND
STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS WITH THE STRONGER STORMS. RAINFALL
OF UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH IN A SHORT TIME IS POSSIBLE
WITH THE STRONGER STORMS AS WELL.

THIS AFTERNOON...LOW CLOUDS WILL SPREAD SOUTH AND WEST BEHIND THE
FRONT/WIND SHIFT. PATCHY FOG MAY ALSO DEVELOP ALONG EAST SLOPES OF
THE RATON AND BARTLETT MESA NEAR THE COLORADO BORDER.
