THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO LATE THIS
MORNING. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL STRETCH FROM NEAR CIMARRON AND
MAXWELL EAST AND SOUTHEAST TO YATES...SEDAN AND AMISTAD. ANY STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN AND
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL OF ONE QUARTER INCH OR LESS ALONG WITH
WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH.

OVER THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS THROUGH EARLY
AFTERNOON. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL BE OVER THE PECOS RIVER
WATERSHED FROM COWLES NORTH INTO THE PECOS WILDERNESS. STORMS WILL
BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM ONE
QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH.
