DEVELOP OVER WESTERN AND ESPECIALLY NORTHERN NEW MEXICO THROUGH
LATE AFTERNOON. STRONGER CELLS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A BRIEF
DOWNPOUR AND PEA HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH...AND SEVERAL CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES. RAIN AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY AVERAGE LESS
THAN ONE TENTH OF AN INCH. THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY WILL FOCUS ALONG
THE EAST SLOPES OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTOS NEAR MORA...SPRINGER AND
RATON.
